Rumour has reached us that the Daleks and Weeping Angels won’t be the only enemies returning this series. In fact it’s been hinted that we might be seeing a veritable cornucopia of returning foes. Some of which could well undergo some quite radical redesigns.
One enemy who we’re told will be turning up are the Ice Warriors, who debuted in the eponymous Second Doctor story, returning in three further Second and Third Doctor adventure’s and making cameo appearances in The War Games and The Mind of Evil.
And the rumour is that there’ll be something inside that armoured suit… appearing in the role of the Ice Warrior Leader, is rumoured to be the unbelievably tall Greg Davis who will be instantly recognisable to fans of E4’s The Inbetweeners as the antagonistic head of sixth form, Mr. Gilbert.
